LACCODEF with support from Child Fund has been providing social assistance to vulnerable households in Lango. This has been in the form of micro grants and cash transfers.

Vulnerable families are assessed and categorized according to their different poverty levels. Tailored cash assistance is extended to these families coupled with financial literacy and basic business management skills.

The micro grants specifically have enabled benefitting households to start micro enterprises like selling vegetables, clothes and produce items in their local markets. From 2021 to date, a total 1500 families have been supported with micro grants and cash transfers.
